Saturday Was the 2024 Celebrity Goat Milking Contest Day at HoustonRodeo

A lot of everything going on at once.

A number of local media and other celebrities showed up Saturday afternoon to test their skills at milking a goat (after a brief tutorial and practice session) at RodeoHouston.  On hand to help out was a select group of Prairie View A&M students who not only helped with guidance for humans and goats, but supplied the goats as well  Erik Smith of 100.3 The Bull was Champion and Dr. Bryan Blonder, the VP RodeoHouston Sheep & Goat Committee was Reserve Champion. Darrin Clifton, representing the Houston Press, finished in 4th place, the highest ever for an HP journalist. (Last year we came in last.) Everyone, even the goats, seemed to have a good time.
