Comicpalooza returns to Houston with big names from cinema, including Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future, Robert Englund from Nightmare on Elm Street, and your favorite stars from television's The Office. But it was this year's cosplayers who stole the spotlight opening day with tributes to horror, sci fi, the multiverse, and anime.

Texas's largest pop culture festival continues from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26 at George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas. Doors open at 10 a.m. each day. Visit comicpalooza.com. (Photos by Mark Reyes)
