Sunday Afternoon at the Japan Festival

Hermann Park's new plaza got a workout with the Japan Festival this weekend. Drumming, singing, and dancing groups performed along with martial artists who demonstrated their fighting skills. From young Japanese dressed in traditional garb to non-Japanese visitors who just wanted to try on a kimono, from Pente players to kids who won goldfish in the arcade, everyone enjoyed the great weather and the chance to glimpse another slice of Houston.
