Day One at Texas Renaissance Festival 2019
Opening Day on Saturday for the Texas Renaissance Festival was sunny, dry and a bit on the hot side — which didn't discourage ticket buyers from coming out to see the sights, which of course included other attendees as well as employees of the annual festival. This weekend's theme: Oktoberfest and there were plenty of beer drinkers and sausage wielders supporting the theme. RenFest continues on Saturdays and Sundays and Thanksgiving Friday through November 29. For information, call 800-458-3435 or visit texrenfest.com. (Photos by Margaret Downing)
