The Amazing Cosplay of San Diego Comic-Con 2017
The people who stopped for our camera at this year's San Diego Comic-Con included Marvel and DC heroes and villains, characters from Borderlands, Overwatch and Street Fighter video games, plus cosplayers from the Game of Thrones and Star Wars franchises. We saw custom creations by amateur enthusiasts and by the professionals at Hollywood's famed Cinema Makeup School.
While only a small percentage of Comic-Con attendees arrived in costume during the July 20-23 event, there were still thousands of cosplayers. Some costumes were fun and simple and some were incredibly elaborate and represented hundreds of hours of work.
