Comedian Carl LaBove's life is inexorably linked to legendary comic Sam Kinison's. As LaBove stepped off the stage from his first-ever performance, Kinison was the first to shake his hand and offer encouragement. (That's a good story.) Kinison later fathered a child with La Bove's wife, who hammered LaBove for child support for 16 years even though she knew he wasn't the father. (That's not a good story.) LaBove probably won't mention either during his performance today. He will, however, probably discuss strippers, one of his favorite subjects: "There should be an age limit for strippers. When you get to the age that you actually need the pole to stand up, you should retire." 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7, 9 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday, 8 p.m. Sunday. Laff Spot, 17776 State Highway 249.
