Ah, prom. The corsages…the awkwardness…the puking. If for some reason you didn’t get enough of all that back in high school, one of Houston’s best-loved cover bands will make you a deal: You provide the tuxes and taffeta, they’ll supply the tunes. At today’s second annual Prom Night, Disco Expressions dips back into those boogie nights for a flashback to “Brick House” and “The Hustle.” Just don’t expect to have any better luck with that blond cheerleader goddess this time around, even if she’s now a twice-divorced mother of three. Some things never change.
