Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?

You can taste the comedy onscreen in Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? One by one, the best chefs in Europe are being killed. And they're not just being murdered, mind you, but murdered in a way that represents each one's most famous dish. (The chef most known for his lobster dish is drowned in a tank of live lobsters, for example.) A celebrated pastry chef, played by famed beauty Jacqueline Bisset, and her fast-food king ex-husband, played by American character actor George Segal, are among the international lineup of suspects. Even though there's plenty of murder on the menu, Great Chefs is an enjoyable romp. Today's screening, part of the Movies Houstonians Love: Meals on Reels series, is being presented by Robert Del Grande, the owner and executive chef of RDG + Bar Annie, who also happens to have his Ph.D. in biochemistry (that must come in handy in the kitchen). 7 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1001 Bissonnet. For information, call 713-639-7515 or visit www.mfah.org/films. $6 to $7.
