Last February, Pam Robinson began the long trek of moving her club off the Washington strip and into downtown. What could have been the final nail in this beloved alternative venue's coffin has turned out to be the beginning of a new chapter. Over time, this would prove to be a smart move, as the clubs off the Washington strip continue to vacate the premises. Walters Houston, now located next to UH-Downtown, is still home to thrashers, metal-heads, scenesters and an array of subgenres. Among other things, the move has given Walters more space for parking, and the showroom is bigger, too.
