William Winkler Earns 3rd Place Finish in International Photography Awards 2007

HOUSTON, TEXAS – William Winkler, a Houston based fine art photographer, has been awarded 3rd place in the 2007 IPA Competition.

International Photography Awards (IPA) is based out of Los Angeles, California and this week announced the winners of this year’s IPA Photographer of the Year awards. Over 20,000 entries from 90 countries world wide were considered.

William Winkler was awarded 3rd place in the professional category of โ€œNatureโ€ for his series, “Branching Out: A Study of Live Oaks in Houston”.

Images from โ€œBranching Outโ€ may be seen at m ARCHITECTS throughout FotoFest 2008. The opening reception for the show will be March 7, 2008 and run until April 27, 2008.
