Wine and Dine XVII Chef Raffi Nasr & Claudia Nasr at Jūn
Chef Rafael Nasr and Claudia Nasr of Craft Pita are teaming up with Top Chef stars Henry Lu and James Beard Award Semi-Finalist Evelyn Garcia for a one-night-only Peruvian Dinner at Jūn, 420 East 20th. Guests can enjoy a four-course menu for $110 per person or $165 per person with the addition of a wine pairing, featuring highlights such as ceviche with leche de tigr; lomo saltado, and more. OpenTable reservations are available from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Toro Cowboys: A Tuna Rodeo Cutting Experience at Norigami
Norigami, 2715 Bissonnet, will host Toro Cowboys: A Tuna Rodeo Cutting Experience. Guests can watch as expert chefs skillfully carve a whole bluefin tuna, followed by an unlimited walk-around tasting curated by chef John Pham and exclusive drinks by master bartender Hao Ma, plus access to the caviar cart by Domus and with Beluga Vodka. Seats are $300 per person via Resy.

Rodeo Uncorked! Blind Tasting at The Post Oak Hotel
The Post Oak Hotel, 1600 West Loop South, invites wine enthusiasts to a Rodeo Uncorked! Blind Tasting with Master Sommelier Julie Dalton from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests can sip through a blind tasting of eight wines and try to decipher which three won the top awards at the Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. Tickets are $125 per person and also include a charcuterie spread, curated to complement each wine pairing.
Wednesday, March 19
Pasta Making Class with at Lyric Market
Lyric Market, 411 Smith, will host a hands-on pasta making class at 6:45 p.m. Folks can learn to master the art of the perfect dough, roll and shape. No experience is required. Tickets are $59 per person for the two-hour experience.
Wednesday–Thursday
Master Whiskey Tasting at Bayou & Bottle
Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar, will host its continuing Master Whiskey Tasting Series, offering a deep into the wide world of whiskies with hosted by esteemed brand ambassadors and Bayou & Bottle general manager Bardia Ketabi. Buffalo Trace will showcase their revered Antique Collection on Wednesday, March 19 and Thursday, March 20, while Garrison Brothers returns with Charlie Garrison on Thursday, April 3, followed by Old Forrester on Thursday, April 17. Reservations are required for the two-hour experiences, which include a welcome cocktail, four tastings and light bites.

Bluefin Tuna Carving Experience at Azumi
Azumi, 4444 Westheimer, will host a Bluefin Tuna Carving Experience on Thursday, March 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy champagne on arrival, live tuna carving, fresh hand rolls and nigiri from two chef stations, premium sake pairings and a decadent dessert station. Tickets are $120 including gratuity.
Rodeo Wine Bingo at Post Oak Hotel
The Post Oak Hotel, 1600 West Loop South, invites folks to sip, savor, and play at Rodeo Wine Bingo, hosted by Stella’s expert sommelier team from 6 to 8 p.m. The elevated take on bingo features Rodeo Uncorked wines and a personal charcuterie selection for $78 per person. No RSVP required.
Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting at The Woodlands Country Club
The Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting returns to The Woodlands Country Club, 100 Grand Fairway, from 6 to 9 p.m. For $45, ticketholders can enjoy an all-inclusive experience featuring 30+ craft tequila selections, specialty cocktails, tasty eats, door prizes and more.
Thursday–Friday
HKD Supper Club at Hotel King David
Chef Dominick Lee of the upcoming Augustine and chef Harold Villarosa of OKO in Austin are teaming up for a communal dining experience on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21, held as part of the HKD Supper Club at Hotel King David, 2615 Riverside. Inspired by Manila Village, a mid-18th century Filipino settlement in New Orleans made up of fishermen and sailors, the four-course menu features Sea Bream Kinilaw, Tinapa, Braised Oxtail Kare Kare and Pan de Sal Bread Pudding. Seatings at the communal table at 5:15 and 8 p.m. are $135.

Empty Bowls Houston at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft
Grassroots fundraising event Empty Bowls Houston returns for the 19th Annual event at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, 4848 Main, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Attendees can peruse 1,500-plus one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted bowls made and donated by Houston area ceramists and craft artists, available for $25 per bowl (100 percent goes to Houston Food Bank and its efforts to fight hunger). Guests can also expect artist demonstrations, live music in the garden, and all who purchase a bowl can enjoy Salata and Katz’s Coffee while supplies last.
St. Germain Bunny Brunch at Brasserie 19
Brasserie 19, 1962 West Gray, invites guests to a St. Germain Buckle Bunny Brunch from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Think patio weather, rodeo chic and fun stuff like a Magnolia Mercantile pop-up hat branding station.
Buboy by Chef Tristen Epps at Guard & Grace
As now-local chef Tristen Epps represents the city on Bravo’s Top Chef Season 22, he will preview his first Houston restaurant, Buboy, an intimate Afro-Caribbean tasting menu spot at a pop-up at Guard & Grace, 500 Dallas. The one-night-only menu will explore the influence of French cuisine on cultures around the world over six courses, from Texas Wagyu Steak Frites to Foie Gras Pate and Ricotta Dumplings with local greens and truffle. Wine pairings, cocktails and more will be available and seatings (limited to 12 people) are available at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Reservations are $145 per person.

58th Anniversary Special at Brennan’s of Houston
In celebration of 58 years, Brennan’s of Houston, 3300 Smith, will offer a $58 three-course Anniversary Dinner Special. The menu includes favorites such as Crawfish Bisque or demi Shrimp Remoulade to start, choice of Beef Tournedos Stanley or Shrimp Creole for the entree, and Praline Parfait with Praline Sauce or Brennan’s iconic Creole Bread Pudding for dessert. Guest Chef Taco Collaboration: Truth BBQ at Little Rey
Little Rey, 2345 Mid Lane, is launching a new monthly guest chef taco collab series, with a special taco created by a rotating local chef featured and 100 percent of its proceeds going to Southern Smoke Foundation to benefit food and beverage workers in need. The series kicks off in March, with Truth BBQ’s Leonard Botello IV crafting a smoked beef cheek with a Pasilla Oaxaca sauce.
Spring Break Kids Eat Free at State Fare Kitchen & Bar
For the entire month of March, each adult entrée gets guests two free meals from the Youngster’s Menu for kids 12 and under. The offer is available for dine-in only at all three Houston-area locations of State Fare Kitchen & Bar.
