AAPI Restaurant Weeks runs now through June 15 across Houston, with more than 50 participating Asian American and Pacific Islander-owned restaurants offering special menu items, discounts and promotions to diners who purchase a digital pass. Organized by OCA-Greater Houston, the annual fundraiser requires a minimum $15 donation, which unlocks a QR-code dining pass while also supporting rice and care package donations for low-income Houston seniors. Participating restaurants include spots like Agnes & Sherman and Aka Sushi, among dozens of others citywide.

Texas Monthly Taco Fest returns to Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney, on Saturday, May 23, bringing together more than a dozen taquerias featured on Texas Monthlyโ€™s โ€œTop 50 Tacos in Texasโ€ list for an all-you-can-eat taco celebration with live music and entertainment. Participating spots include Houston favorites Cochinita & Co., J-Bar-M Barbecue and other acclaimed taco joints from across the state. General admission starts at $60 and includes taco samples, while VIP tickets are $85 with early entry at 5 p.m.; general admission begins at 5:30 p.m. and the event runs through 8:30 p.m.

Landryโ€™s Signature Group is rolling out its 2026 Houston Chef Series, โ€œA Night at the Theater,โ€ a multi-week dinner series pairing five-course chef-driven menus with classic film themes and cocktail or wine pairings at participating restaurants across Houston. Upcoming dinners include Glenn Espinosa at Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse on Thursday, May 28; Frank Lewis at Mortonโ€™s The Steakhouse on Thursday, June 4; Ricky Cruz at Grotto Ristorante on Thursday, June 11; Erick Bocanegra at King Ranch Texas Kitchen on Thursday, June 18; Jayme Ramirez at Willie G’s Seafood on Thursday, June 25; and Misael Saucedo at Brenner’s on the Bayou on Thursday, July 9. Most dinners begin at 7 p.m. and are priced at $125 per person plus tax, with menus and pairings varying by chef and film inspiration.

Brewsology Beer Fest returns to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, 5555 Hermann Park, on Saturday, May 30 from 7 to 11 p.m., turning the museum into an after-hours craft beer festival with access to exhibits, science displays and beer tastings from more than 50 breweries and cideries. General admission starts at $60 and includes entry from 8 to 11 p.m. with unlimited samples, while early admission ($75) adds a 7 p.m. entry and specialty pours, and VIP tickets ($95) include early access, souvenir glassware and $30 in food credit. The event is ages 21 and up.

The World at the Table, a one-night collaborative dinner inspired by Houstonโ€™s global culinary scene and the upcoming World Cup, takes place Monday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Kitchen Rumors, 2310 Decatur. Hosted by the teams behind Kitchen Rumors and Travelerโ€™s Table, the five-course dinner brings together chefs Jassi Bindra, Hugo Ortega, Lena Le, Ardian Brantoro and Rafael Nasr for a globally influenced menu featuring dishes like duck confit tacos, scallop and Gulf shrimp dumplings, Balinese-style lamb chop tongseng and Lebanese knafeh, all paired with wine. The evening was originally envisioned by Travelerโ€™s Table co-founder Thy and will continue in her honor, with each chef sharing personal stories and cultural influences behind their dishes throughout the meal. Seats are limited to 65 guests and tickets are $175 plus tax and fees.
