Mystery writer discusses Killer Weekend and more
Mystery writer Ridley Pearson is on a roll. His new adult thriller Killer Weekendis looking like a summer favorite with the whodunit crowd, and his children’s books Escape from the Carnival (written with humorist Dave Barry) and The Kingdom Keepers are being touted as the next big thing for kids. Killer Weekend is set in Sun Valley, with big-shot politicians and corporate kings in an assassin’s crosshairs. Escape from the Carnival features characters from Neverland, while Kingdom Keepersfollows a group of kids who are trapped in Disney World after hours. Juggling three such diverse stories might seem daunting, but for No. 1 New York Times best-seller Pearson, it’s just another day at the office. Pearson will discuss all three titles during the reading/signing today.
