If you spend any time on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, or Pinterest you know about the Condescending Wonka Meme. The scourge of Twitter with a dozen copycat feeds clogging up the important work otherwise going on around the Twitterverse, the meme lashes out condescendingly at idiots and their ilk with a picture of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka the focal point. More often than not, it's just mean and unfunny.
Ahem.
That's why I created a kinder and gentler Wonka for the rest of us. One that doesn't judge you for what media you consume, or what you do to pass the time before you die.
Respectful Wonka sides with no one and agrees with everybody, in one way or another. Because you catch more flies with honey, and it takes less muscle to smile than to frown, or something like that.
