Liberty Kitchen Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This oyster bar offers some happy hour food and drink pairings that will knock your socks off. The menu of $6 appetizers and 3- to 6-oz pours (starting from $3) changes seasonally, but you can expect combos like sambal-butter-smothered grilled oysters paired with fruity, peppercorn-spiced sake or fried oysters on sourdough paired with a smooth, citrusy pinot grigio.

D&T Drive Inn Monday all day and Tuesday through Friday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This chill-as-hell ice house is the kind of place you want to hang all day. Good thing they offer a sick collection of rotating craft beers at just $4 a pint and $7 a jug during happy hour. Not to mention a ton of other daily and on-the-whim specials, like Monday's "Happy Hour Beer and a Brat" for $10; Tuesday's "Steak Night" -- featuring a big, beefy NY strip and baked tater with all the fixin's for $16; and things like $2 Shiners when you order in a pirate voice on "International Talk Like a Pirate Day." Because that really exists...and they celebrated it last week.
