Vice Never Tasted So Good: Smashburger's "Sin City" Burger

Bad news for those who get their kicks by ordering off Smashburger's secret menu: you can no longer feel like a cool kid by ordering the clandestine "Sin City Burger."

But that's good news for those who value transparency in the terms of a restaurant's complete offerings, which I estimate to be 80 percent of the population.

So named for its decadent components and its original availability only in Las Vegas, the Sin City Burger features a juicy patty loaded with American cheese, Smash Sauce, crispy fried onions, at least three strips of smoked bacon, and a fried egg. It's salty, crunchy, and, if you eat it straight out of the gate, messy as the fragile yolk is apt to burst and infuse the entire sandwich with sunshine ova goodness. How can something that tastes so divine be sinful? Ponder this question when you try the burger, which is on offer until October 26.

If this burger makes you painfully nostalgic for Vegas, you're in luck because Smashburger is also hosting a contest to send one winner plus a guest to the real Sin City. Fans who think they have what it takes to survive the “Sin City” should submit their most outrageous survival tips on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SinCitySurvivalTips by midnight  EST on October 20. Any and all tips will be accepted as long as they include the campaign hashtag and Smashburger encourages fans to get crafty and creative with their submissions. Throughout the campaign, Smashfans can visit the campaign microsite, www.sincitysurvivaltips.com, to learn more about the promotion, rules and regulations, and view other Sin City Survival Tip submissions.
