Up Onion Creek without a paddle!
In search of a cool patio to relax and hang out with some friends we settled on Onion Creek (3106 White Oak). They always have cool beer specials, like $2 Red Stripes on Thursday, and we walked into a $1 Pearl beer trap. And what goes better with cheap beer (Pearl was originally brewed in San Antonio) than some hot dogs?
We take on the Perro Caliente, a hot dog covered with white cheddar, jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, and bacon. It was muy delicioso. The other concoction we had was the "Freak Dog", Frito Pie on a hot dog. Fuck yes! We drank so much $1 beer on top of those awesome dogs that we built a little Pearl pyramid. Yes we are those people.
